Las Vegas Premium Outlets
Opened in August 2003, Las Vegas Premium Outlet is the first outlet in Downtown Las Vegas. This outdoor outlet offers 120 stores, including a few normally not found at outlet malls, such as Samsonite Black Label, Dry Ice, Dolce & Gabbana and St. John Company Store.

The food court offers indoor and outdoor seating, and there are six kiddie rides. To help keep you cool while shopping during hot summer months, misting “towers” use fans to spread moisture along the walkways.

There’s a shuttle bus that loop between downtown and the outlet. Fare is $1 per way, per passenger.

Las Vegas Premium Outlets is owned by the company that also owns Fashion Outlets Las Vegas (Primm). So you might want to compare the stores and see if you want to stay in Las Vegas and shop or take the 30-45 minute drive to Primm Valley.

Address:

875 S. Grand Central Parkway

Hours:

10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Monday to Saturday

10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday to Saturday

Fashion Outlets Las Vegas
I used to make the trek out to Primm to shop at Fashion Outlets Las Vegas specifically for the Coach outlet, but now that we have a Coach outlet in Hawaii, it’s not so critical -– not to say that the drive isn’t worth making.

There are over 100 shops in an enclosed mall. The outlet is connected to Primm Valley Resort and Casino, so those who don’t want to shop can gamble.

In fact, this area has three casinos: Primm Valley Resort and Casino, Buffalo Bill Resort and Casino and Whiskey Pete’s Resort and Casino. Buffalo Bill offers a huge roller coaster that you can see while driving by.

If you’re not renting a car, there is daily shuttle service to Primm from MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and The Shops in Desert Passage at the Aladdin. Round trip fare is $12.99 and you’ll get a complimentary Savings Card worth $800 at participating stores. Check out the Fashion Outlets website for the shuttle schedule and for a $3 coupon.
As mentioned above, Fashion Outlets and the new downtown Las Vegas Premium Outlets are owned by the same company, so you may want to take a look at the store listings.

Address: Off of I-15 North (got plenty signs)
Hours: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
